15 Months and On the Run

Nothing is safe.  Willa is into everything.  Well, the only thing she hasn't actually figured out yet is the toilet lid.  I'm really surprised she seems to have no idea of the water playground that awaits her under the lid.  She has figured out how to open our lever doors, which includes the bathroom and the pantry.  She thinks it's funny to hide in the bathroom from me.  She'll peek out the crack of the door and wait for me to come around the corner then slam the door shut and giggle.  Thankfully I've only lost part of one roll of toilet paper so far.  She usually just likes to hide out in there (apparently she's not afraid of the dark)  She can open the dishwasher and pushes the buttons on it and the washing machine.  Oh, if only I would have gone the pedestal route for the washer and dryer.  She can climb up on our kitchen and dining room chairs.

She is talking non-stop.  She will repeat back most things I say.  It's getting hard to keep track of all her new words! She has also started jabbering more like she's really trying to tell me something.

I am happy to say (but scared to death to put it in writing) that her sleep has improved slightly.  The main improvement has been nap time. We've gone to one nap and she is going down and staying down longer.  I feel like a new woman with an hour or so of free time each day.  It's amazing what I can get done in that time frame.

At the beginning of the month baby girl got tubes put in her ears.  She did such a good job and was such a cute little patient.

On a side note, but totally related to a Willa update.  I started organizing all of our pictures and we are out of control.  I went through her first year and we have something like 1500 photos.  But that includes like 10 of the same exact pose.  You know with babies you have to snap a zillion in a row to make sure you get a good photo.  My new goal for this year is to spend time each month going through and moving photos to folders so I can keep them organized.  Speaking of photos, here are a few favorites from the past month...

Her hair is growing!  We are about ready for her first haircut.

And here she is with her animal sounds...
