I have to admit it was difficult at first. I didn't have problems packing up boxes, but it took me a at least a day to get myself to start taking things off the wall. This is where we started our family.
LOL...pun intended! (Yes, my awesome pillow does look like a pile of poop on the bed)
You notice I called the beginning of marriage "the start of our family". There's a reason for that. We are taking a parenting class with some ladies from our church and the very first lesson was actually about our relationship as husband and wife. We discussed the importance of maintaining that relationship when Cecil arrives and how important it will be for our child to see the healthy marriage we have. Your family starts at marriage and now we are "expanding" our family. I like that way of looking at it!
But back to packing...When we packed up the bar I almost dumped out this bottle of rum because it is so old. We bought it in Jamaica on our honey moon.
Seth's mom stopped me from throwing it away. I figure maybe we can celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary this year with a little rum and coke :) I did dump out the bottle of flavored vodka and nearly up-chucked when I was doing it. It just reminded me of drinking myself sick...which back in the day translated into about two drinks.
I knew moving would be a pain, but I didn't fully realize how much work was ahead until we started packing. Oh well, at least I can sit back with my feet up and just boss ;)
(This is my feet at the end of the day at work...all swollen with sandal marks)
