Cecil is already trying to defy us! Instead of being in proper position and ready for a vaginal delivery Cecil is breech. This news we received at our 35 week check-up wasn't what we wanted to hear but we are happy to report that Cecil looked good on the sonogram. His/her long locks of hair were flowing in the amniotic fluid and we even got to see eyes blinking and looking around (the first two are actually in 3D).
Yes, Cecil will probably take after me because he/she is already putting a foot in his/her mouth! Cecil is in the "frank breech" position.
I'm giving all suggestions a try in order to get Cecil to flip. Seth and I talk to Cecil a lot now...usually saying "head down". I play freeze out (ice at the top of my uterus and heat at the bottom), lots of flips in the pool, and I'm also going to a chiropractor. We're really not worked up about it...just taking it one day at a time. Our next doctors appointment is on Tuesday and we'll have another sonogram to check position.
35 Weeks! Weight gain according to MY scale 32 pounds
Since we do not know what we're having I have not bought a single clothing item. But I couldn't help myself the other day and bought this pair of jeggings (they were only $3.99). Let's just hope her legs will fit into newborn size.
