Big and Loving it?...

First of all-a disclaimer.  For those of you who have had miserable pregnancies, you might want to just stop reading now.  I know my current discomfort doesn't compare to what you've been through in the last 7 months (you know who you are).

The title of the chapter in my pregnancy book that discusses the 7th month is "Big and Loving It".  When I got to this chapter I still didn't really feel big, but I was definitely loving it!  I'm happy to say I'm still loving it but now that I'm in the middle of the 8th month I can officially say I'm feeling big.  I don't understand how this little thing that supposedly weighs about 4 pounds and is approximately 17 inches long (stats from the Baby Center app on my phone) can take up so much room.  Those tiny feet really put some pressure on and the butt puts a little bulge on my belly when Cecil is moving around.  I feel like I'm starting to run out of room already!  I'm starting to get uncomfortable and the aches and pains are kicking in more frequently.  Some mornings are rough and I find it hard to get moving, but praise the Lord, I'm still sleeping good at night (despite the multiple trips to the bathroom)!

I had a a great baby shower last weekend (this was one of three).  It was back in my hometown and mainly family members.  Thanks to my mom, sister, sister-in-laws, and nieces for all their hard work!

I loved all the decorations and the food!  It was great to see all my family there.  I was blessed with many things that I know will be put to good use with Cecil.

My latest focus has been on "spinning" Cecil.

I have a history of posterior births in my family and I want to try to do anything and everything possible to make sure Cecil spins around in the right direction and comes out face down...like he/she should.  The pic is my doing "The Inversion".  I use the term spinning because it comes from a website (http://spinningbabies.com/) dedicated to getting your baby to move into the right position for an easier childbirth-and isn't that would every woman hopes for :)

46 days to go!  But I want those days to drag because I have a lot to get done between now and then.
