Can't Turn My Back On This 18 Month Old
The little guy continues to wreck havoc on our house. He just loves to get into things. I think it's worse with the second child because there are more things to get into, like crayons and other art supplies. When I tell him not to touch something or do something he, of course, just looks at me and continues to do it with a mischievous look on his face. He has finally stopped constantly eating the colors and I can keep him busy for a few minutes by letting him play with them and attempt to color on paper. But the other day he kept insisting on coloring on the kitchen floor instead.
His language has really developed in this past month. He has many more words and is actually repeating them and using them to communicate. It's so cute when you ask him a question. He almost always responds with a "yeah" and a big smile.
Things are so different with the second. Willa never watched TV until she was 2-years-old. He doesn't watch it much but sometimes it impossible not to have him when Willa is watching it. I've been trying to capture this moment for a while now. He gets so excited when I turn on Cat & the Hat (Willa's favorite show). Plus, he just feeds off of Willa's excitement. The hands are my favorite part.
Just realized I haven't taken very many pics of him this past month. But I still have some...
He was more about pulling the wagon than riding in it. We went trick-or-treating with our neighbors. The kids had lots of fun.
He is really, really tough. He hit his face on the arm of the couch and cried, but not for long. It bled for a few minutes.
Another perk of being the second child...you get more sweets & treats.
