Time. Please. Slow. Down.
My little guy is cooing, giggling and loving watching his big sister. I think we are all finally starting to settle in. Each day is getting easier and easier. But as Willa has calmed down Leo has become a little more needy. He's still a good baby but it is just exhausting some days because he doesn't want to be put down to sleep. So lots of baby wearing. It works out well most of the time though because he will sleep well in the carrier when we are on the go. We like to be out and about to help big sis burn some of her energy off.
I'm pretty sure he's started teething. He is constantly chewing on his hands. He is also slobbering all over the place. Willa never slobbered like this. He hasn't been sleeping as well either so I'm going to blame the teeth. He takes multiple short naps during the day. I had some hope that we were headed in a good direction with his nighttime sleep, but unfortunately that was short lived. No more five hour stretches :-(
He is very content to sit in his bouncy chair or lay on the floor. He seems to be getting close to rolling over. His neck strength is getting much better too.
It still gets crazy around our house...
Just chillin at the park
And here she comes! His first craft beer festival in Uptown Normal. He only stayed awake for a few minutes then slept through the whole thing.
Here's a fun comparison
He looks like me!
Willa always wants in on the picture taking
