Leo is Two Months Old

My little guy isn't so little.  He ranks in the 90th percentile for his height and the 92nd percentile for his weight.  He's nursing like a champ and is really healthy overall so far.  He is also sleeping good at night with typically one wake up.  Day time naps are here and there and not really consistent yet.  But as long as he's sleeping good at night I can deal with the day.

He has a love hate relationship with the car seat.  Sometimes he'll sleep in it for hours but most of the time he won't actually fall asleep in it.  I try to put him to sleep before we leave because I can't always count on a car ride nap.  Sometimes there is a lot of screaming.  As you recall Willa hated her car seat...he's not quite to that level yet.

He's getting a little more love and less abuse from big sister.

Adjusting to two children has been very challenging.  There are good days and some days are just horrible.  It's like a roller coaster.  I'm just glad that Leo is an easy baby.  I am much more chill about him too.  Since he's our second we really do realize how each phase does pass and things get better and sometimes they get worse for a while.  I personally just love the newborn/baby stage.  I'm trying to soak it up as much as possible.  The difficulties of it don't really bother me much now because I realize it doesn't get any easier the older they get.  A family member told me that she would put up baby pictures of her kids all over so that she could look at those to help her get through the tough days, even when they were teenagers.  I need to put a bunch up of Willa right now.

I don't know if my picture taking of Leo is keeping up the pace I had with Willa at this point, but I'm trying...

And seriously, I said it before and will say it again, I love taking selfies with my babies.

And just for the fun of it here are some comparison pictures of Leo baby Willa.

Willa has Leo beat on the cheeks.  She actually weighed about the same as Leo but Leo is almost 2 inches longer than she was at this time so his weight is a little more spread out.  But Leo is gaining faster because he was almost a pound lighter than she was when he was born!
