Little Guy is One Month

I feel like I should get a medal or something for keeping Leo in one piece for an entire month.  Seriously, I've had to play defense against his big sister non stop.  She's struggled to adjust to this big change, but that's a whole other story for another post.  

I can sum up Leo's first month in just a few words.  He eats, sleeps & poops.  Now I get it.  Babies that sleep really do exist.  I always thought it was a myth.  It's very refreshing having this laid back baby.  We actually knew after the first night in the hospital that he was different than Willa.  

But much like his big sister, he has been packing on the pounds.  When we went for his two week check up he had already gained 1 pound and 5 ounces!  He's right on track to be a chubby little guy.  I just love it!

His favorite things to do is bounce.  We rarely rock him.  I spent some time on the ball the last several weeks before he was born so that could be why he likes it.  It's something that always comforts him and usually puts him to sleep.

He also loves to stare right at you.  

I just love how he looks right into your eyes.  I know people will argue he can't really do this yet...but he smiles for me.  I have even got a few coos out of him.
