That meant five nights of uninterrupted sleep and even naps during the day. We both enjoy very laid back vacations. Our days center around eating with some relaxing in the sun and naps.
This was our second time on this small island across from Cancun. We just love it. It's nothing fancy and the pace is very slow. There are a bunch of little, local, hole in the wall type restaurants. When we were there three years ago we spotted a bed and breakfast that looked amazing and that's where we stayed this time! It was all we had hoped for and more.
We stayed in a second floor palapa where the view was amazing. There was no air conditioning but that wasn't an issue. There were shutters all around the room we could open at night for the ocean breeze and then listen to the waves all night.

It was quiet there because they only have five rooms. We really spent a lot of time there because they had a pool and plenty of spots to lounge. There was no beach access due to the rocks in that area but you could sit and see the water from their property.

I was concerned about leaving Willa for so long because we never have before. But she did great. She loved staying with both grandparents. She was super excited to see us and this mommy was ready to come home and see here by the end. But she actually complained when it was time to come home!

So glad you were able to go and enjoy yourselves! And this granni loved every little second she had little sweeti Willa! She is such a joy and delight to keep! 💗
