Another month has flown by and I think Willa's biggest development was probably her language. I'm amazed at the way she is talking and how it gets better and better each day. She speaks in sentences and seems to be understanding more things. She wakes up talking and goes to sleep talking. She's even been talking in her sleep lately!
She is also getting better at playing by herself. She loves to play with her doll house and her imagination continues to grow. She can pretty much take anything around our house and turn it into a toy. She has also started to like to color more.
When she doesn't want to play on her own I have learned to have her help me with what I'm doing. It actually works well. We bought her a step stool to use in the kitchen. I like having her help empty the dish washer. She hands me the plates from the bottom and I put them up in the cabinet.
We've started to see a glimpse of the terrible twos. But I have to be honest and say I really hate that phrase "terrible twos". I'm trying to keep a positive attitude about it-my opinion might change in a few months :-). Right now she will throw fits but they only last seconds.
Potty training is a work in progress. She's been going on the potty for a while now but I'm not rushing it. I could probably try harder but I really want to make sure she's ready. Right now she probably goes on they potty about two times a day on average.
We have been to the pool a lot this summer because she still absolutely loves it. I can tell she has become even more comfortable in he pool over the summer. When we did swim lessons in July I couldn't get her to lay back in the water (not even in my arms or on my shoulder). She just started doing it on her own one day in the very shallow water. Now she'll lay back when she is in the big pool with her puddle jumpers on.

Willa is such a joy and delight to be around! What a wonderful blessing she is! When mom Dara, was a baby....I always referred to it as the 'TERRIFIC TWOS!!!' I knew each day brought something new and exciting! 💗
