It just keeps getting better and better. My baby girl is talking in sentences and never really stops talking. She is constantly pointing out something, telling me about something or giving me directions of what she wants me to do. I just love watching her play because her imagination just keeps growing. We started swim "lessons" at the pool this past week and she's loving the water. I ended up getting a season pass and will definitely get my money out of it. She's doing pretty good in the water so far and is not too afraid. But she has developed a strange fear to certain noises and things. So far our summer has been off to a fun start...

It's hard to get a good one of her at the pool because I don't want to get my phone wet
I finally figured out how to get things done in the kitchen without constantly being interrupted with "up please". I've got her helping me! She loves to see what I'm doing and I try to find her little task she can do, like put all the broccoli in the colander.

It's official, she really likes lemons
The other day we shared a bowl of chocolate chex and what happened was a beautiful thing. She picked out all the plain ones and ate them so I was left with all the chocolate ones. I think this sharing thing is going to work out really well. She's doesn't really like sugary sweet stuff. I guess she has a "salty tooth". Ha!
Speaking of food we hopefully finally have a handle on her allergies. We went to see an allergist and they tested her for multiple things. Most of the results just confirmed our suspicions or told us what we already knew. But we were happy to find out there are some tree nuts she can have so we don't have to stress out as much about that. The actual testing was brutal but worth it to get some answers.

This was after she had calmed down and we were waiting for the results
The current list of foods she's allergic to is peanuts, cashews, coconut, dairy, and eggs. Phew, it's exhausting but we can handle it. She's a trooper and watches us eat eggs all the time and will only ask for some once in a while and never really minds when we tell her no. Usually she looks at them and says "eggs...sick" (we tell her she can't have them because they will make her sick). We are also happy to be trying something new for our night time problems. She has this chronic cough that is usually the worst at night. So the allergist is treating her for asthma (something we had been suspecting in the back of our mind for a while). The doctor also thought she might have some reflux. So she's on some meds for that right now as well. She's such a champ. At first she absolutely hated the reflux medicine but now she takes it for me. We make it a bit of a game to take it really fast and chase it with water. And as far as the asthma medicine goes, she takes it through the nebulizer and basically begs to take it. She loves to do it and even holds it for me.

And last but not least...the many faces of Willa.
