She answers most of my questions with an emphatic "yea" and when I sneeze she responds with a "bless you". My baby girl isn't a baby girl anymore. Her words have just exploded in the last month. They are also becoming easier to understand and she is putting words together more frequently.
You're probably laughing at her pig tail in the picture above so I'll give you a behind the scenes look at how it got like that...
I rarely put her hair in pigtails because it doesn't last long. In fact, she doesn't keep headbands or hair bows in either. She likes them and wants to put them on but then pulls them off minutes later.
Willa is also starting to play better on her own. Her imagination continues to develop. She especially loves playing with her baby dolls and teddy bear. It's funny to watch her because she will carefully place her doll blanket on the floor so it's just right and then she tosses her baby down head first.
She cannot get enough of the outdoors. She begs me to go outside and gets upset when it's time to come in. She's not afraid to climb up on the playground equipment and go down the big slide on her own. Even though she loves to run she still enjoys going for a stroller ride.
We are still struggling with her allergies and sleep, which could be related. But we have pretty much just come to the conclusion that she is not a good sleeper so we try not to get too stressed about it. We just can't figure her out, so it's best if we just go with the flow. We'll get there someday...all teenagers sleep, right? :-/

She is just making new and fun memories everyday that it is becoming hard to remember things when I sit down and write an update. I'm thinking I need to start keeping a daily journal (something I've never been good at). I think the best idea would be an electronic version where I could just input a few sentences each day and then maybe a a photo and description. I'll let you know next month how that goes :-)
