This boy keeps me on my toes. I figured a boy couldn't be that much harder than my energetic, one of a kind girl. I was wrong! All this hitting and punching is exhausting. I think three is going to bring with it some big emotions too. Lots of meltdowns over the past few weeks. His current love language seems to be hitting. It's a bit out of control. The other day Seth asked him why he hit him and he replied "because I like you". That about sums it up. He hits when he's mad and happy. He also likes to punch. But despite all that the boy loves his momma.
He loves all things that move-trucks, airplanes, tractors etc. He can identify almost every truck on the road, including the Amazon delivery truck. He absolutely loves to ride his bicycle. He got a new one for his birthday so he can go even faster with the bigger wheels! He's been riding his "beautiful princess bike" (hand-me-down Barbie one) since last summer but didn't care at all. However, he was ready for a bigger size!
He also loves to play video games (although he really has no clue what he's doing). And he's gotten more into watching TV. He even watches sports with dad. It's Seth's dream come true. I think we'll have some sort of athlete because he's always kicking or throwing a ball around the house too.
His interest in books has increased. Last year he wouldn't sit through much of a book but now he brings them to me to read and loves going to the library and bringing home a bag full of superhero books.
I've got a lot of photos. It was hard to pick because I skipped his mid-year update and had to go back through the entire year. I guess that's what you get for being a second child - lack of updates :-)
He loved the pool last summer so I'm looking forward to many pool days this summer too!
Of course he loves all tools.
Learning how to dress himself last year.
He loves to grab our phones and take pictures.
He doesn't mind playing with all the girls.
We had lots of fun going out to Radar Farms last fall.
This was so sweet...Willa kept complaining that her pants wouldn't stay up and saying she needed a belt. Then Leo went and got his belt from his Batman costume for her.
He liked playing out in the snow and didn't mind the cold at all.
First dentist visit and he wouldn't really let them do much and had to sit on my lap.Tea party!
Shenanigans at Target
Cousins
This is how much he likes riding his bicycle!
On the spin bike like mommy.
Family vacation to Della's wedding in Texas!
