Sitting at Seven Months

This months picture is a little blurry because he is becoming hard to capture. He wanted to play with the blocks and not look at the camera. This month's outtakes are fun.

As you can see, he is sitting up well.  He really mastered his sitting skills over Thanksgiving.

We have tried a few foods.  He's really not too interested yet.  He will chew on green beans.  He has also had avocado and peas. We are doing like we did with Willa and just letting him feed himself and not doing any purees.  So it will take some time for him to get the hang of it.  I'll be a little more cautious with what I feed him though because of the food allergies Willa has.  So far he hasn't shown any of the signs that she did (eczema in particular).

On October 31st we participated in Baby Dedication at our church, Vale Church. Leo slept through the whole thing...

As usual, Willa wasn't thrilled about having to hold still for so long.

Granni made the little man a tie and some jeggins to match his shirt.
 Hanging with Daddy on Halloween.
Matching big sis (outfits courtesy of Granni)

He likes to have his clothes off and get his diaper changed.

Helping with some fall yard work.  He had been sitting in his stroller for about an hour and this was the only way to get the work finished before dark!

Proof that he can fall asleep in his car seat now!  He slept the entire way to our Thanksgiving dinner (1.5 hours)
This just melted my heart.  She walked all the way to the car like this.

At least Leo is getting our moneys worth out of Sophie...he likes to chew on her (Willa wasn't a big fan)
