Nine Months Old

Willa is on the move now!  This past month we have seen a lot of changes.  She learns things so quickly.  She had just started pulling up on things at the beginning of the month and now she's pulling up and letting go. She can only stand on her own for a few seconds, but she keeps practicing.

Changing her diaper is pretty much impossible now (as you can see from the picture below).  It is probably only a matter of time before she takes a head dive off of the changing table.  I've almost masted putting on a diaper with her squirming on her belly.

Sleep is still a challenge but in the past few days we have had some great naps so if this continues for a few more days I think it will be safe to say we are turning a corner.

I actually took her to a chiropractor who provides homeopathic health services.  She didn't need adjusted but he seemed to offer some hope with her skin and allergy issues.  As you already know, I have been off dairy for a while now.  But she is still battling with eczema and itching a lot.  The chiropractor diagnosed her with a wheat allergy also, so I have had to stop eating gluten as well.  She is also taking some homeopathic tablets that will hopefully help.  The good news is that just because she has these allergies now doesn't mean she will have all them forever.

Despite her lack of sleep, she's still as happy as can be.

She's also eating more food.  The only thing she wasn't crazy about is peas.  Which is probably a good thing because they are the one vegetable we don't really eat in this house.  She loves green beans and even tried a little pulled pork the other day and seemed to like it also (that's my girl).
