I have run out of clever titles for these posts...in fact, I'm even lucky to get this one done before it is time for the next! Now that she is a year old I debated about how often to do the updates. But I've decided she is still changing and learning so many new things everyday that I want to continue to do them monthly so I will have a record of everything (I've been slacking with the actual baby book).
Now that she's one we've moved to a new monthly pose. The rocking chair she is sitting in is an antique from my Grandma Peggy. It was her chair when she was little! I just love it and so does Willa.
I will also go ahead and share the link to her one year pictures here for those who would like to view them all. They turned out great! Willa did better than us. Seth and I had problems keeping our eyes open. The ones with the rocking chair are some of my favorites.
November was not much fun around our household because Willa was sick so much. I would hate to say how many times we went to the doctor-probably about weekly. It went from ear infection, to wheezing, then when that cleared up there was another ear infection. I ended up getting sick over Thanksgiving and Seth got it too. Seth never gets sick and if he does the symptoms are always not as bad with him and that was the case this time around.
After Willa finally got rid of all the ear and respiratory stuff on round three of antibiotics, she woke up one morning with a terrible rash all over her body. I'm not going to post the worst picture of it because it makes me sad to see her little face all broke out. But I think with this side view you get the idea (this was day one and it got much worse on day two). Her body was covered. She is allergic to Amoxicillian.
There wasn't anything we could do for her, we had to just wait and let it get out of her system. It took about four days until it was completely gone.
On top of all the sickness she has also been cutting her one year molars. But despite all of this, my little smiley girl was still smiling and I can leave you with some photos.
