Our Life Has Been Changed Forever...

I know the title of this post seems a bit dramatic.  That was part of a congratulatory text message I received and it couldn't be more true.  Our life change has been the most amazing ever.  Baby Willa is blessing and I thank God for her everyday! 

Willa is two weeks old!  I have thought about updating the blog multiple times but I just haven't got around to it.  The past two weeks have flown by.  It's been a lot of lounging around for me and Willa.  It's hard to get anything done when I can just snuggle with her.  Plus, for about the first 10 days I didn't feel like doing much at all anyways as I was recovering.

She's the best to nap with.  Dad loves his time with her also but she's often awake for him.

Overall she is doing really well.  We had her two week check up today and she weighs 9 pounds and has grown an inch.  The doctor said babies typically gain one ounce a day and she has averaged two ounces a day.  Breastfeeding has obviously been going well.  She had her first bath on Sunday and she liked it (there was no crying at all).

She's really a good baby.  She doesn't cry much and when she does there's usually a good reason- she's hungry or has gas.  Nights haven't been too bad either.
